Dr. Aprajita Nakra, DPM, FACFAS
Board certified
Board certified in reconstructive ankle and foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She successfully finished a surgical residency program at Emory Hospital in Atlanta and began practicing podiatric ankle and foot medicine and surgery in Arizona in 2000.
Dr. Nakra
In 2004, Dr. Nakra founded Advanced Ankle and Foot specializing in Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Medicine and Surgery located in Gilbert, AZ. Besides private practice, Dr. Nakra has authored chapters in ankle and foot surgery text books and in medical journals. She has also been listed in the Phoenix’s Best Docs List and more recently, was named as an editor of “McGlamry’s Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery, 4th edition.” Most recently, Dr. Nakra was selected as the newest Residency Director of St. Johns Episcopal Hospital New York – AZ Division.
